Apologizing in advance for missing accents or anything else incorrect with the names/location. I couldn’t figure out how to do them on my phone.

My, who later takes an Americanized name of Esme, is working in her home country of Vietnam when she meets a woman who wants her to marry her son. The son, Khai, doesn’t date and his mother is concerned he won’t marry. My gets a visitor visa to the United States and she has until the end of the summer to try to get Khai to marry her or she’ll be returning home.

The story is told very well, I immediately liked both main characters. It’s obvious that neither are perfect but since we get both POVs it’s a lot easier to get to know their true intentions.

Is it predictable? Yes. Is that what I’m looking for in a regular romance book? Absolutely.

This is the second book in the Kiss Quotient series but it’s a standalone book. There’s mention of the previous couple in this book and I know Kiss Quotient mentions Khai, but none of that is integral to the story line so you’re able to read them out of order if you choose.
