This was one of the coolest things I've read in a long time!!! I am so excited it is being adapted for TV!!!! Holy shit!!!!

First of all, the story was visually stunning in every possible way. I loved the colors, and especially the way that the color red was emphasized — but also the beautiful purples and blues. Lisa Sterle's art is gorgeous and I hope to see more of it in other graphic novels soon!!

Second, the plot and characters were amazing. Think "Mean Girls" meets "Ginger Snaps" if there ever was. In graphic novels, especially ones with just one volume, it could be a challenge to show the layers of a character in such a short amount of time, but I am obsessed with all of them and I really appreciated how double-layered some of the conversations being had were — about eating disorders, peer pressure, racism, sexuality, everything you can possibly imagine that affects teenage girls.

If you're interested in a moderately gory, perfect addition to the likes of "Jennifer's Body" and "Carrie" in terms of female-centric horror, I'm begging you to pick this graphic novel up!!!!
