I loved this book so much! I have read every book in this series of stand alones (not interconnected) and while this isn't my favorite book of the series I still had a really good time reading it! Rebecca has an amazing way with words that can even take a trope I normally don't love and make me fall in love. Raelyn and Warren were everything to me. They had this amazing chemistry. I normally don't like friends to lovers stories but this book is an exception. This is a style of friends to lovers where both have been pining after each other but they both know that they have different goals in life so it will never work out.

Raelyn loves her small town of Homer, Alaska and is happy there. Warren on the other hand has a lot of trauma associated with the town and has lived his life with the sole purpose of getting out of the small town. The week before he leaves forever, his best friend Raelyn, decides she has to finally shoot her shot with the man she has been in love with since she was young. Warren has always wanted this to happen, but he still needs to leave. Together they realize a week together before Warren leaves is better than nothing. What isn't planned is Raelyn finding out she is pregnant after Warren leaves.

This book was like a warm hug of healing. It was wonderfully written and I couldn't put this book down. It was messy and real and I just fell in love with these characters and this small town.

Thank you to Rebecca Rennick for the advanced reader copy!
