This book really caught me off guard - I wasn't expecting much, but I ended up really enjoying Sign Here the whole way through. I went in thinking it would be horror comedy, but I say it is more fantasy with little to no actual horror elements (besides taking place in hell); I don't usually like fantasy, but the setting worked for me.

Despite being over 400 pages, I found it to be a quick read and finished it in 2 sittings. It was pretty funny, especially all the silly details about the 5th floor of Hell (the only booze is Jagerbombs, you can never get a pen to work until the 5th try, you never know how deep those puddles really are...just dumb humor that cracked me up) and the people working down there.

I wasn't too sure about the constant jumping between characters at first. I'm normally a fan of short chapters, but initially, they made the character shifts feel more abrupt. At the start of the novel, I wasn't as invested in the family storyline, but as I read, I became more intrigued. There were a few twists that all landed well for me - I sort of saw the big one coming, but it still played out in a satisfying way. I was also honestly by the writing, it was really great and managed to balance depth with goofiness really well. I would definitely read more from Lux.

Overall, it was just a fun, engaging read that I think a lot of people would enjoy so it will be easy to recommend. I did a combination physical copy/audiobook and the audiobook was great! The narrators really brought the story to life.
