A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer
3.0

I’m just.... underwhelmed. Is this really the end when there is so much left unresolved?

So much of my disappointment stems from book 2 in this series where we were lacking the main perspectives of Harper and Rhen. We started this series with them being so important... and they were useless by the end. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Grey, but everything in this book was so forced. We literally got two of the same stories of R/H and G/LM hooking up, just slightly altered to fit the change of scenery. Quite literally the same shit written twice. It was just a long book of whining back and forth about wanting/not wanting to go to war, withholding information, and being a bunch of babies. And then it was over faster than it started.

Except it isn’t really over. There is a ton of unresolved conflicts. Maybe I’m wrong and this isn’t the last book of the series? Possibly another coming later? It won’t change my rating...
