I’m torn between a 2.5 and a 3 - I was expecting to like this better than the first however that was not the case. I feel like more clues about why characters were behaving a certain way in the first half of the novel would have been helpful and avoided me getting frustrated with some of the choices they made and things that were happening. I also took until like 75% to start liking the romance, before that I didn’t really care for it. Also I skipped through the spicy scenes in this one because I found some of the descriptions had some wording that was not for me and was off putting. I was curious enough about the plot to keep going and I’m glad I did to see them unravel more of the curse and to see a lighter side to the heathens.
