How to Kill Your Family
by Bella Mackie
Grace is in prison for a murder, a murder she sadly didn’t commit. However, she has thus far got away with the six murders she did commit, so she can’t complain too much. This is Grace’s retelling of how and why she decided to murder three members of her own family. Blisteringly funny with a very dry sense of humour and thoroughly dark throughout, this is exactly my kind of read. It is reminiscent of Sophie Kinsella… if indeed Sophie Kinsella wrote books featuring gruesome murders and BDSM, all with a light dusting of cocaine. I listened to this as an audiobook and very much enjoyed the narrators delivery. I’ll definitely be looking out for more from this author.
