This was my first dip into Tessa Dare's books and the traditional romance genre and I LOVED it. I absolutely get what everyone is talking about when they talk about these books being a comfort read and I am officially in that camp. The characters are funny and open and honest and, most importantly, through all their flaws they seem kind. It was naturally very steamy so keep that in mind if you're picking it up. Otherwise, I'm so glad this was recommended to me as a beginner romance novel because I am hooked.
