A very good read. A little winding at parts, but the world-building around the cult was very realistic and created a serious sense of foreboding.
I took one star off because it could’ve been shorter. And also I haven’t read any of the other Strike novels so I had no background in terms of Robin and Strike. Overall I just didn’t feel their chemistry AT ALL, but I’m sure I would have a different opinion if I’d read the other books.
Overall, I would recommend.
