This was such a lovely read, so charming and the grief that's explored really broke my heart! I didn't realise how many emotions I needed to explore myself and had buried.
I do agree that it starts feeling a bit rushed towards the end and maybe things could have been tied up a bit better - I'd have happily read another 100 pages! I do also wish they'd focused on the antagonist and magic a bit more but still very much enjoyable.
The family aspect is what really took me and it was a book I felt I really needed to read, I ended up in tears more than once!
Overall it was lovely and so easy to imagine everything which is so important to me when I'm reading.
