Love, like possession, like a haunting, refused to rest.

Heart, Haunt, Havoc is quite an entertaining read that wanted to tackle so much in such a short time. Despite the challenges posed by its brevity, as a fan of anything laced with mysticism, the paranormal, and occultish in fiction, I found myself immersed in every scene that explored Colin's role as an ex-exorcist. The romance was just okay to me. The Nordic witch scenes take the cake, though. I love her!

While I thoroughly enjoyed the story, my one minor complaint would be the 'insta love' romance between Colin and Bishop. But, as I said, given the book's concise length (of under 200 pages), I do understand the constraints the author faced in fleshing out the relationship between our leads.

Personally, I would have appreciated a slower burn instead, even if they do not explicitly end up together in the book.
