holy shit. an absolute whirlwind of a book. it took me a bit to get used to the structure but once I was in it I couldn’t put it down! I think it requires a reread at some point to remember all the moving pieces, and I’m curious about what Minato’s perspectives on human nature are/what message she was trying to convey. I also feel like I’m missing some cultural context on violence and how it’s portrayed in the Japanese news cycle… a thriller that makes me want to do some research lol
Graphic: Child death and Murder
Moderate: Child abuse
