Agatha Christie: An Autobiography by Agatha Christie

Did not finish book.
I'm glad I read this, even though I didn't make it all the way through. I'm a huge fan of Agatha Christie's books, but there's a lot of misogyny, xenophobia, and snobbery to wade through if you want to enjoy the clever plots. It was informative to see a bit behind the scenes and realize that the biases and blind spots are stubbornly there, a product of her time.
Unfortunately, her opinions on the role of women means that she doesn't talk very much about her writing. It's almost like impostor syndrome, only without anyone pushing back to demand she take credit for what she's achieved.
