Azadi: Freedom. Fascism. Fiction. by Arundhati Roy

5.0

First time reading Roy, though I’ve been a longtime fan of her public speeches. She especially helps me to understand the (settler) colonization of Kashmir with my mind always on Palestine.

So many varied, necessary essays in this piece, and its ending emphasis on the pandemic leaves a chilling effect for the “post”-pandemic capitalist machine of empire today.
