The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by S.A. Chakraborty
3.0
adventurous funny lighthearted medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

I enjoyed the fun and adventurous world crafted by Chakraborty, and the narrative voice was light-hearted and maintained optimism, but for me the emotional beats failed to land, and I was not particularly attached to the characters. Still lots of fun action and magic, but a bit weak as a story.
