Come on. This book could’ve been soooooo much better. I’m teaching this to my freshmen class and literally every time I try to get them interested in this book, she goes and flips it. The whole bringing the possibly dead, not dead dad into the picture two chapters before the end of the book makes me want to throw my book into the trash and forget it existed. Soooooooo much build up just to fall off the cliff with the crappy conclusion. No. Thank. You.
