From the first sentence I loved and enjoyed this book from the characters,to the story and of course how Mac and Cooper are like ice and fire.
I really enjoyed seeing the character development in Mackenzie 'Mac' and I liked seeing Coopers views on trust-fund kids change as the story develops and how he opens his mind up for . I liked seeing Mackenzie pulled away from this tight mould her family made for her  . This is probably the best book of the year that I've read because it's not just a romance . There's so much more . It talks about friendships and blurring that line of friendship to lovers , finding yourself whether that means to stop being a people pleaser to your parents and it shoes that dropping out of college isn't necessarily a bad thing .

Another thing which I liked about the book is that none of it feels rushed and it was clever the way the author strategically placed certain events even though at times I definitely did go in panic mode and think oh my god are they going to make up , is she going to find out the big secret etc . Another thing that I enjoyed is watching the dynamic between the two brothers change as their life begins to change due to many factor's like  Mac becoming more involved and the final breakdown of the relationship they had with their mother .

On the back of this book there was a comment made about it being impossible to put down and I must say that is 100% true . As soon as I read the first few chapters I was more than desperate to find out more and I was desperate to find out how the dare would unravel because it's kept hush hush throughout a huge chunk of the book which I actually think makes it more intriguing.

This book is honestly so close to a 5 star but I so desperately wanted to find out more about the brother and his ex but that's purely because I'm nosey and I'm intrigued to find out more about Evan (the brother) . So if that's my only 'bad thing' then it's a bleady good book .

After doing some more research about the author it turns out that Evan has his own book and by the sounds of it my questions are to be (hopefully answered) . This book is the first part of a three book series called Avalon Bay series .
