Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett

5.0

Lovely read

This is a wonderfully, unique story. I did have some minor issues with the plot but nothing large enough to consider spoiling. I will say, though, that the ending felt entirely too abrupt for various reasons. Again, this also does not detract from the quality of the story.

You will love this book if you enjoy:
•Faeries
•Romance that is NOT “I just met him” or “enemies to lovers”. This seems to be popular among faerie stories and I’m glad for something fresh.
•Faerie stories where romance is a wonderful subplot and not the main plot.
•Interesting, unique female protagonists that are intelligent.
•Side characters that actually add value to the story and are as interesting as the main characters.
•Adventure
•Less-detailed and minimal scenes of violence
•Very detailed world descriptions

If you love faeries, give this a read!
