Well, HOLY MOTHERMAID! As always, Jay knows how to grab your attention and your heart, and then shatter it into tiny little pieces. To say I cried a lot during this read is very much true. It took me too long to finish but I was so engulfed by the story that I wanted, I needed to savor it. The art was incredible and touching at times and then so gut wrenchingly raw at others. Jay had a vision for this series and his artist got it spot on. You may think that you know exactly how things unfolded judging from were/when the story is being told but for this series I can say that it is not the destination but the journey there that gets you. Those last 100 pages had me cursing, crying and just enthralled to what I was reading. It was like a bomb exploding and I just couldn’t look away. I am thrilled that the story continues but dreading the time it will take to get the next installment!
