i wasn’t looking forward to this book as much as the other ones simply because i didn’t tandem read it with EoS so after reading that i was like ugh i have to leave all the characters i love (aelin, rowan, lysandra, etc.) and read about chaol? umm no thanks. so it was a bit of a slow start getting into this one especially with all the new characters in the 6th book of the series. BUT…..i have to say the yrene/ chaol story line GOT ME i loved following their relationship same with nesryn and sartaq. once we were out of all the world building hand into the adventure and twists that this series does so well, then I couldn’t stop reading. the ending was amazing and has left me so hopefully for the final book
