Gallows Hill by Darcy Coates
3.0

More like a 3.5 than a 3. I was a little bored at the beginning of this book, as I felt it went a bit too slow for me. What kept me invested was the creepy house atmosphere and the lore from the townspeople about the old house on Gallows Hill. Once we got to the meat, though, I found myself really enjoying myself and rooting for the main girl to get out of the situation she was in. That being said, the book wrapped up a little too quick and too nicely for my taste. It feels like we didn't get very much time in between the real scares and the finale.
