Worst Wingman Ever
by Abby Jimenez
If you’re on the fence about reading Worst Wingman Ever by Abby Jimenez, let me save you the trouble—just read it. Seriously, it’s worth every minute.
Expect adorable letters, genuinely funny and heartfelt dialogue, and Holly, who’s a hospice nurse and a total book girlie. The story is set around Valentine’s Day, and John is basically the sweetest guy you could hope for. Someone even mentioned he looks like Brendan Fraser… I’m still trying to figure out if we’re talking Tarzan Brendan or The Mummy Brendan. Either way, very bonus points.
Also, fun fact: I learned the phrase is “hard as hail,” not “hard as hell.” I may have laughed more than I should have.
My only complaint? I needed more. The story ended far too soon, and I wasn’t ready to say goodbye.
