This book is an adorable, funny, contemporary romance that has Grumpy x Sunshine and Enemies to Lovers tropes which are two of my favorites.

Grace Travis has a few months before she graduates with a degree in interior design when she inherites her grandparents house on the beach and decides to move in and renovated it.

Noah Jansen is a real estate developer who moves from New York to California, buys a house  and plans on starting fresh with his business in order to get out of his father's shadow. He wants to buy Grace's house but she refuses to sell it.

The book started in the best possible way, with a pack of dogs. I really liked both Noah and Grace even though they annoyed me sometimes with their stubbornness. They each have their flaws and aspirations which makes them feel real. The attraction is instant but they don't get together right away because they keep challenging eachother. I also really liked the secondary characters and I think Morty really stole the show. He made me laugh so much and I loved his relationships with Grace.

The book touches some deeper issues such as toxic relationships with parents and choosing your own family. The middle of the book seemed a little slow and I think it could've been a little shorter but in general it was very enjoyable.
