This book took me buy surprise it was part of my birthday haul and a family member bought it thinking it was a different book and daymmnn I am glad they did. Do you get that feeling that you have read a book for a reason and you were meant to read it? Well that’s what I felt with this book.

At first the trigger warnings had me pausing I haven’t actually read a book with TW before I read them and thought ok they are giving readers a heads up on content this is going to be deep let’s give it a try. Loved it. Like really loved it the way the story was written and told to the reader was incredible the characters you felt them and you grew with them!

*Definitely check the TW on books before you read them as they just might not be for you*

Spice Rating: 2🔥
I wasn’t looking for spice the more I read this book the more I wanted character development and the personal growths to continue there where bits of spice in here maybe even more than I focused on but I was so drawn to the other parts of the book that the spice wasn’t what I was interested in this time around!

Format: this cover definitely hides a delicate yet bold storyline behind it, I fell for these characters and felt like you really lived through them. I feel maybe Jude got done dirty on the front cover, maybe that’s just me but I didn’t imagine him like that 😂

Favourite Quote: “I’m not looking to fix you” she said, staring straight into his eyes. “I’m here to love you”

When I say I struggled to pick I seriously struggled to pick there are so mainly great quotes that really resonated with me in this story.

I chose the one above simply because it really does hit me like a freight train, not everyone can relate but for me it’s being that persons support system and them knowing that you are the safety net that you are there if they need you, you don’t have the answers but you will face the questions together. But at the same time you check in with yourself and just because your are someone’s safety net doesn’t mean you have to be strong all the time you can slow yourself to feel too because everyone feels something.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk whoops! 😂🫣
