Although a huge change to Pips character is very prevalent in this book, i genuinely really enjoyed it. By the end i was absolutely enthralled, stressed to bits and desperately reading to see what happened next. The only thing i wasn’t a fan of was
Pip taking her sweet, sweet time to figure out that the DT killer was so obviously Jason Bell. cmon girl, ur better than this
. I think Pips feelings following the horrifying scenes of the prior book were handled very well and her PTSD was portrayed well. You could really feel her guilt and sadness.
However, her and Ravi breaking up and then the time jump to an inconspicuous text message at the very end is NOT how i wanted the relationship thats spent 3 books growing to come to a close. There was no closure and the development feels like it was for nothing. Though, this is just a huge book pet peeve of mine, so it’s probably not that deep
. Still a very solid ending to a very solid series, i’d definitely reread and i’d definitely recommend to others.
