I’ve seen a thousand recommendations for this book and I love thrillers so I thought i would give it a go. Overall, i don’t think it lived up to the hype i’ve seen. it had a fast plot and the twist was surprising. however, i thought the ending was too rushed and hard to follow. i didn’t really connect with or like any of the characters (i especially hated Ethan) and the writing style just felt a bit messy and clunky to me.  not a terrible book, but I don’t think i would read it again.
