The End of Policing by Alex S. Vitale

5.0

The question we need to be asking is not "What would we do without the police?", but rather; "What do the police actually do for us?".
These are hard, cold facts. Essential reading for anybody with blind faith in the current system of policing.
I can understand criticisms of the fact that Vitale doesn't present us with a complete text. His research does not particularly provide more than platitudes or simple entry-level understandings of the core problem. 5 stars, but this should certainly be treated as an introductory text.
