The Great Rift by Edward W. Robertson
1.0

What a meandering mess of a book. I almost didn't finish, it was becoming more and more of a chore to read. But I did push through to the end--and it wasn't worth it. The big pinnacle is supposed to be emotional, I think, but even after reading 2 (long!) books, I didn't care enough about the characters to give half a fuck. Oh and once again there is only one woman in the book and she is a walking trope. Definitely not reading the last book.
