Well holy crap. If anyone thought this was how the book and this series ended you would not be surprised by it, but the road getting there was full of "what the actual F*UCK!" this book was a slower read for me because I didn't like the feeling of Mercer/Jasper being deceitful. But the last half of the book was a quick read, it went from plotting and confusion to a full on war in a matter of seconds. This book brings insight into why Mercer never fully pursued Adeline and I have to say I agree with him. He may be a liar but he never lied about how much he cared for Adeline. Overall I say this was the ending everyone wanted but I can honestly say I was surprised on how they got there.
