When I started this book, I was sort of disappointed because I've realized it has a sci-fi twist.... No, I did not read the synopsis; I just believed the hype and blindly bought the book. BUT, as I kept on reading, I started liking the whole mystery behind Jane.

I am completely in love with Jane and August! Their relationship felt so real but also completely surreal to me. I think I was grining like a school girl while reading their scenes. Their interactions were so cute and flirty, and such a good, slow burn!

While I'm at the characters, I also loved August's roommates. They were all so interesting and cool. I think Nico is my absolute favorite, along with Isiah.

The story was pretty good, too. The sci-fi aspect is done well. The romance is a lesbian slow burn with some cute smut. And it's all followed with McQuiston's simple writing style that makes this book easy to read and hard to put down.

I highly recommend you to check this book out. In my opinion, it's totally worth all the hype.
