A modern take on a coming of age classic “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.” It really sings a song of New York in the early 1980s - told through the eyes of a young Muslim teenager in Corona, Queens. It didn’t have the ending I expected, but it’s also maybe the only ending that fits.
