I have enjoyed a number of Stephen King's newer books, the writing is still engrossing and drags you in, even with only moments of horror. Revival stays engaging throughout, as you get a deep taste for the subject's life and the twists and turns it takes. Just enough supernatural to keep you hooked, until the end when everything goes off the rails, just as you've been waiting for. My only complaint was with the descriptions of Nederland, Colorado, where I've lived... King nailed the mountain attitude, but missed opportunities to pull in the B&F grocery, the MountainEar newspaper, or the fact that instead of a single traffic light Nederland only sports a roundabout.
