Wow, I don't even know where to start this review. I'm just... at loss for words after that ending. I had to put this book down every 5 chapters or so because I was so overwhelmed with emotions; both happy ones and sad ones.
Mickey's struggle with depression just hit so close to home with everything that's going on in the world right now. Jaysen was amazing but I would've punched anyone for a chance to read one chapter with his POV. I was so excited for Mickey to go meet Jaysen's family and almost ripped my hair out when it got cancelled. I reread the last few paragraphs over and over in hopes that we finally found out who got first place (look, the last line was romantic as FUCK but the book hyped that subplot so much okay). The minor polyamorous couple made me scream. The family relationship was amazing. The friendships more so.
In conclusion, this book is a great read and made me ugly cry and I hope everyone who reads this feels the same because it's just *chef's kiss*.
