I kept reading hoping it would be more than predictable. It was engrossing in the sense that I for sure wanted to keep reading but, I’m the end, felt like it added very little to the conversation and even less to the world of literary characters.
Also still 100% can’t figure out why Mae didn’t realize Kalden was Ty when he was on video screens but could see Ty as Kalden immediately in-person.
