I feel a lot of these comments just don't do this book justice. Whilst everyone is entitled to their own opinion I almost didn't read this book due to some of these comments but thankfully there was enough good comments to at least give me reason to have a little look. I am so glad I did the language and story of this book is great and I felt it was a solid 4 stars but saying that it wasn't until reading the following books that I feel it really took off. Whilst each book is great on its own watching the characters grow throughout the series is amazing and the author does a great job throughout building on the characters he created in this first book. ( just as a heads up whilst I have this a solid 4 stars I have given the following 6 books each 5 stars. I think it's great. ) cannot wait for the finale. Have even read the short stories that flesh out some of the characters on his website whilst waiting for the final book.
