Nice little mix up to the story as Harlow is abducted from the tribe and ends up with Ruk, who has been living alone on the planet for years.

“This female is mine, now. I’ve taken her from the bad ones. She belongs to me, and I’ll kill anything that tried to take her.”

Enjoyed the issues that arose from their language barrier. And how they slowly get to know each other.

“Good,” I snarl at him. “My cootie may be in Stockholm Syndrome but I am not”

Yet, there is no denying that the Insta love that occurs due to their biological resonance, they still deeply care for each other.

“Her face is the last thing I see before I go to sleep, and the first thing I search for when I awaken”

The plot twist was extreme obvious from the beginning however, that didn’t diminish the impact once it was all revealed.

“I made some stew and you and … can sit by the fire and flare stoically at each other”
