I almost stopped reading in the first chapter. I didn’t understand the jump to an entirely new set of characters from the prologue, but it all tied together as I read on. I found Roberta a bit annoying, but liked Damon. I essentially read the book cheering for him to have a HEA. He held his own amongst a huge cast of secondary characters, whereas Roberta was overshadowed by Jemma.
