It's not a bad starting first volume, but it's personally not my taste- and that's okay. I wouldn't say its the violence, or death, that is a turn away. But it didn't seem fully to just connect with me. I think so far that it is adventurous and its a rather interesting plot that is being followed out that you are able to understand.
Moderate: Body horror, Death, Medical trauma, Murder, Injury/Injury detail
