My first Emily Henry book and it came as a recommendation from Hannah over at Brews.and.Books (thanks, Hannah!).
I loved this story. I loved the main characters and their struggles. I loved that they were both writers. They were these rich, deeply realized people and their problems were so relatable and grounded in reality that it was impossible not to identify with both.
It was the perfect ending I needed to feel open and hopeful about my own life. Bonus points for mentions of Taylor Swift and other incredible artists, Everlane, Salinger, handwritten letters, and having a clear soundtrack I could totally feel and vibe with.
Forget Happy Ever Afters. Happy For Now is where it’s at.
So many great quotes I might as well have highlighted the whole book! I’ve now made all those viewable. I’m a hopeless softie who will be reading more Emily Henry books.
