I read the whole thing, but it feels like I didn’t read it at all at the same time. Writing is a little lackluster — info-dumpy at times, and the dialogue always felt over the top and unnecessarily flowery, and it took me out of the scenes because people don’t actually talk in that way. Felt like middle parts where other characters kept asking the main character “do you know what *bad guy* is doing” and not actually getting to the point was just to leave bread crumbs and build up tension for the readers. Would’ve been more realistic for them to come out and say what they mean instead of hinting around the truth.
