Margo's Got Money Troubles by Rufi Thorpe

funny lighthearted reflective fast-paced

4.75

This was so delightful to listen to. Honestly, this book is what I had hoped THE SONS OF EL REY was going to be, weaving the history of professional wrestling into a modern literary story.

All of the characters were so well developed, the pacing of the plot was superb, and Thorpe’s idea to blend the artistry of professional wrestling with sex work was executed with such precision.

I reserve 5 Star ratings for books that blow me away/change my worldview, so that’s the only reason this one doesn’t get 5 stars from me. But this one is absolutely worth a read or listen!
