This book BLEW my mind. The story and characters were so intricate with a fascinating plot about two different ways her life could go. I could tell Jodi Piccoult did her research! I learned so much about ancient Egypt, and death doulas. Like wow, who even knew that was a thing?
(Just gotta put this here: there is a bunch of sex in this book. Didn’t bother me, I thought it went very well with the story, but it might be too much for some people)
I will be thinking about this book for years to come. It is one that makes you THINK.
ALSO, why don’t we get to KNOW who she picks in the end?! Talk about the ultimate cliffhanger!
