The Tempris series has been on my TBR for so long, and now all I can say is - why?? Why have I waited to long to read one of the best books I've ever read?
This series has quickly become of my holy grail ones, and for all the right reasons.
The world Stephanie has built, the story, the characters, the friendship, the growing love, and the banter... Everything was perfect and I was swept away.
It was so easy to connect to the characters, to understand their struggles and to cheer for them. I know we all fall for the standard enemies to lovers trope, but what about best friends to lovers? So much better, at least in the Tempris series. The relationship Taly and Skye have is so real, the banter between them so perfect, and growing tension so well executed.
The story is so intriguing and deep, and the world shown to us is intricate and keeps you guessing and wanting to know more. All I know is Stephanie Fisher has a new fan and I will read anything she writes ❤️
