I wish I could've liked this book. I seriously considered DNFing it but I the end decided not to for who knows what reason.
First off, Eliza was INSUFFERABLE. She had almost no growth through the whole story and seemed to think feminism was man hating and sl*t shaming until the last chapter.
Len wasn't any better. He was flat and I didn't care about him. And his chemistry with Eliza... Nonexistent.
All of the other side characters were also flat. We barely saw them and when we did we didn't get to know them, we just watched them act like idiots.
The book did have one very high point, though: Serena was a great character in contrast to the others. She was portrayed as stupid and vain for much of the story but I feel like she was the only one who really understood what feminism was.
I was excited to read this because it seemed like exactly something I would like, but unfortunately, it wasn't worth it to me.
