The Fragile Absolute: Or, Why Is the Christian Legacy Worth Fighting For? by Slavoj Žižek

challenging informative reflective slow-paced

2.5

I feel my rating may be a bit unfair as while I love zizek, I had taken a bit of a break from philosophy and diving back in with this book may have been a poor choice. Despite (or maybe even because of) it's length, it is quite dense and tough to understand many of the points and how they relate to the promised premise. Perhaps because it is short, it didn't have the time to spend on catching a reader up to speed and instead comes right at them at full force.  It warrants a re-read whenever I've warmed back up to this intellectual realm.
