So, this book is divided into two parts. The first half of the book made me angry at the characters. It was very well written, and I am sure her point of the layout was for you to become invested in Mia and her life. Then, BAMM, you are hit with the second half of the story. In true Alice Hoffman style, in comes the magical element. Although it was a bit far-fetched, I loved it. Who wouldn't love to meet their favorite author back in their time? I was a bit confused by the ending, but I don't want to put any spoilers out there. 4.5 stars. Thank you for the eARC.
