Pretend this review is for all the volumes because I read all of this as one book essentially so idk where volume 1 ends and volume 2 starts. First of all, HEART-WRENCHING. If you aren’t ready for an emotional roller coaster, well you should prepare yourself because you don’t want to miss this story. Second of all, literally so interesting and complex. I don’t understand how authors can create such complex worlds. It’s magical. Literally. They use magic in this book all the time. It’s a lovely story that has a sweet ending despite the horrors that occur to get there.
