Annie Jacobsen does an excellent job crafting a scenario using facts, stories, and history that most of us are unaware of.
I loved the unique structure of this book and was interested to see what the path to the very obvious ending of nuclear war would look like.
Learning about the inside rationality of the US’s military industrial complex felt extremely important. I wish more thought would have been put into how other countries would be effected by a scenario like this as well as the non-human lives.
