I’m trying not to be too harsh because I know this is a well loved duology. I mean, I flew through it in 2 sittings so it was an easy read. Lots of dark romance tropes to tick off the list I guess? 🤷🏻♀️
But…both characters were insufferable, I felt nothing between them. Every scene felt like it was trying to be shocking for the sake of it - which fell flat. And regardless of the fact they’re ‘foster’ siblings…it’s a hell no. 😷
It’s a shame because I just finished ‘Insatiable’ by the same author and it’s SO much better. Like, I can’t believe they’re the same person. 👀
