It was delightfully indulgent and my inner teen who loved Ender's game and every single dystopian novel is receiving treatment with every page. Darrow is a little bitch and a great protagonist. Parts of it dragged a bit and in other parts I had to suspend my disbelief a lot but overall I'm having a lot of fun and I'm excited to start the next one. 
Honestly tho, if I as an author took so much from Ender I would not go as far as putting the main characters surname right there as an Easter egg.
